A List of My Top Miss Piggy Movies

Miss Piggy, who does not love her? She is confident and she knows how to work her curves. Her makeup is always on fleek too – just as her outfits. She even headlined fashion magazines (well, in the movies).

She might look so girly on the outside but she does not look that soft on the inside. She is also tough as she knows karate. She is also full of courage as she is always voicing her thoughts and does not worry about what others might think of her. On top of that, she is smart and she is not afraid to go after her dreams. Everyone loves her! Because of this, she has been one of the headliners of “The Muppets.”

Miss Piggy has been well-received by a lot of people – even her movies. And if you are living under a rock and have not watched any muppet movies, let me share with you my three most favorite movies of her so you can get a closer look on her character.

Of course, first on the list is “The Muppet Movie.” This is my most favorite as this is where Kermit the Frog first met Miss Piggy. Also, I loved how Miss Piggy won the pageant with her over-the-top performance. It was later revealed that Kermit fell in love with her in this movie after seeing her in the contest.

I too love “The Muppets” film. Here, Walter, Gary, and Mary joined Kermit, Fozzie and the rest of the gang to save the Muppet Theater. They then found Miss Piggy working at a fashion magazine in Paris and asked her to join their mission and raised a fund to repurchase the theater. Miss Piggy and Kermit faced a challenge in their relationship in this movie. However, in the end, they still managed to save their relationship. Like me, a lot of people loved this movie as well. In fact, it is the most-watched muppet movie among others. It also grossed more than $88 million at the time it hit the big screen.

Last but not the least on my list of favorite movies of Miss Piggy is “Muppets Most Wanted.” Here, Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy faced an even more challenging trial in their life. Both of them were put behind bars as Kermit was mistaken to be a criminal while Miss Piggy got abducted by the antagonists. But they still managed to save the day together. This movie is also received well by other muppet fans. As a matter of fact, this placed third as the top-grossing muppets movie.

There are other great movies where Miss Piggy starred in but these are just my favorite ones. Even so, she did well in her other movies. Because of that, she deserves the award that she received back in 1996. She was awarded by TV Guide as one of the 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time. She is a feminist, she is always gorgeous and she is very talented – what is not to love about her?
